Conversationally appropriate cliches I'm trying to start:

  • "Ain't THAT a load on your church pants?!!"
  • "If there's mud on the field, game over."
  • "You wouldn't think that if you read all the way to the end."

    Very well done. I've already injected #2 into my office vernacular, regardless of context, to mixed results. I also like "You really should be stripped of your opinions" and "wow, that's a true 'stache twister"

    Good, yes. How about, "Okay, I'll tell you the truth, but you're probably not gonna like it."
